WE’RE NOW DELIVERING AROUND THE MARPLE AREA
As of the week commencing 21st March 2022, we'll be offering deliveries of all our ethical and sustainable products to people that live in and around, but not restricted to, the following areas:
Marple, Marple Bridge, Cote Green, Compstall, Cherry Tree, Romiley, Mellor and Hawk Green.
HOW WILL THIS WORK?
To start with, we’re planning to deliver on Wednesday afternoons each week. Therefore, to give us enough time to prepare your orders, they need to be with us by 5pm on the Tuesday, although they can be placed at any time prior to this.
You can place your order either by phone or email so that we can talk through any options or stock issues with you. As we’re a small business we do not currently have the capacity to set up a fancy website that tracks stock and accepts payment, plus, by taking through your order we get the chance to speak with you and offer an unbeatable service!

Whilst we’re taking your order we can also discuss delivery options. If you’d prefer a different delivery time we can check whether we can accommodate your requirements and if you’re not going to be in you can advise us of a safe place to leave your shopping.
Once your order is ready, we’ll send you a text message containing an itemised shopping receipt and a secure link to pay online. When we receive notification of payment we’ll make the delivery!
WHAT CAN I ORDER?
You can order anything you like from our entire range! Take a look around our site to see our range of loose food or pre-packaged food goods, personal care items or household products. You can also check our social media profiles to give you a better idea of some of the things we stock: Instagram / Facebook.
We’ll use paper bags to bring the food items that we sell from dispensers to you, no plastic here! We’ll ensure that all of these products are labelled correctly with the necessary ingredient and allergen information.
For our liquid refills, such as shampoo and conditioner, washing up liquid and fabric conditioner, we’ve devised a plan for a circular system for ferrying products from the shop to your home. What does this mean? On you first order we’ll add the cost of a recycled PET bottle(s) to your order. They’re £1.50 each and come in capacities of 500ml, 750ml or 1 litre. There’s also a goose neck bottle that’s designed for toilet cleaner. These will be delivered to you filled with the liquids you require, which you can either use around the house or decant into the bottles you already own.
We’ll make a note of what bottles you’ve paid for and on your next order you simply pay for just the products. We’ll deliver in a different bottle and collect your empties, which we’ll wash and reuse over and over. If you decide you wish to stop using the service we’ll refund your deposit once all bottles are returned.
You’ll also be able to purchase different attachments that you can keep hold of and use at home; lotion pumps (£1.20), trigger sprays (£1.51) and flip caps (£0.24) to make the products easier to use, or you can simply decant the liquids into the bottles you already own. We’ve also got a couple of more premium bottles available, one with a lotion pump and one a trigger spray - these cost £8.00 each and you can use them around the home for many different things.
We’re also happy to use containers that have been donated to us to ferry your liquids to you, we can talk through what’s available when you call.
Finally, you’ll also be able to order bigger quantities through us, 5 litres or even 25 litres. We may need a little time to order those in, but give us a call to discuss your requirements.
WILL THERE BE A DELIVERY FEE?
To start with, we’re please to let you know that there will be no delivery fees until the end of March 2022!
Going forward, to help us cover the additional cost of operating like this (wear and tear) we’ve devised a delivery charge system based on the distance you live from the shop. This is as follows:
Within 0.5 miles - £1.00
0.5 - 1 mile - £1.50
1 - 1.5 miles - £2.50
1.5 - 2 miles - £3.00
2.5 miles and over £3.50
However, if your basket totals more than £35, delivery will be free!
HOW WILL YOU DELIVER MY ORDER?
As some of you will know, we’re keen cyclists so we’ll aim to deliver your shopping by bike & trailer! We do, however, want to ensure your shopping arrives in perfect condition, so if it’s a bit damp out or we have a particularly large order we’ll use our small car to make the deliveries. Going forwards, we’d love to buy an e-cargo bike to enable us to do more deliveries!
